Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 20 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the specified ingredients. Sandwiches will be made with white bread, but you can take any to taste, about eight slices. The sausage is semi-smoked, it is better to take it with fat. Medium-sized potatoes. I take dill from the greens, you can add any greens to taste. Salt and pepper as needed. Prepare a good non-stick frying pan. Depending on the selected frying pan, more or less oil may be required for frying.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Wash and peel potatoes. In a deep bowl, grate raw potatoes on a coarse grater. Remove the selected semi-smoked sausage from the package, remove the film and grate on a coarse grater, add to the potatoes.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Wash and dry the fresh dill greens. Add the chopped dill greens to the bowl, break the raw egg, add salt and pepper to taste (if necessary). Mix the mass thoroughly.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Cut white bread into slices 1 - 1.5 cm thick. Spoon the prepared mass onto each slice, lightly pressing it against the bread. So alternately put the whole mass on the whole bread.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Preheat the selected frying pan over high heat, then reduce the heat slightly and pour a little vegetable oil. If you are confident in your frying pan, then you can not pour the oil (there is fat in the sausage and it may be enough for frying sandwiches). With a quick movement, put the sandwich on the pan with the filling down, also lay out the others, but leaving room for them to be conveniently turned over. Fry the sandwiches on this side for a few minutes, until golden brown.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Then carefully flip the sandwiches to the other side. There is no need to add oil here. The sandwiches themselves, if the pan is chosen correctly, are easily turned over, keeping the filling on the bread. Fry the sandwiches on this side for a few more minutes until the bread is browned.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Put the finished sausage and potato sandwiches on a plate, also fry all the remaining sandwiches. Such sandwiches can be served hot, but they are also very tasty when cooled down. When serving, sandwiches can be sprinkled with fresh herbs.
