  • Pour the alcohol and milk into a 4-liter jar, add the sugar, the oranges (cut into not-too-small pieces, with skin and seeds), and the lemon cut into pieces. Cover the jar and let it infuse for a month. Every 2–3 days, stir the contents with a wooden spoon. After a month, strain it through cheesecloth and squeeze out the oranges. Filter the resulting liquid: fit a filter made of filter paper (you can use blotting paper) into a funnel. You can do this as you pour the liqueur into bottles — let the liquid drain very slowly, leaving the sediment behind; it will take several hours, but the drink will come out perfectly clear. If too much sediment builds up on the filter paper, replace it with a fresh piece.
