Cooking method
We start the preparation of this delicious and healthy breakfast by turning on the oven to warm up to 180 degrees Celsius. We also prepare a baking dish in advance - you can take a square or round one. The diameter of the round one should be about 20 cm, if the shape is square, then we also take it with a side of 20 cm. Lubricate the selected mold with oil. After lining the mold with baking parchment so that the edges of the ends protrude beyond the edges of the mold.
Put a large frying pan on medium heat, pour olive oil into it and wait for it to warm up. As it happened, we put the pre-thawed vegetables in the pan (drain the excess liquid from them into the sink). Fry the vegetables, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes (until soft). We put the fried vegetables in the prepared form, distribute them evenly along the bottom.
Thoroughly wash my eggs under running water, dry them with paper towels, break them into a suitable size, quite roomy, container. Beat the eggs with a whisk, then pour in the milk, add salt and ground black pepper. And once again whisk everything together. Pour the egg mixture into a mold with vegetables.
We put the frittata form in the oven that has managed to warm up to the desired temperature for 25-30 minutes. During this time, the eggs will be completely baked, the frittata will acquire a golden color. When the specified time has passed, we remove the mold with the finished dish from the oven, let it stand for 10 minutes. And then you can serve the frittata on the table, putting it on serving plates. This dish is perfectly combined with fresh herbs.
Bon appetit!
