- Peel and finely chop the onion. Slice the mushrooms. Sauté the onion until golden.
- Add the mushrooms to the onion and cook for 5–7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the sour cream and simmer for 1–2 minutes. Slice the baguette.
- Spoon the filling onto the bread slices and top with cheese. Bake in an oven preheated to 350–400°F (180–200°C) for 10–15 minutes, until the cheese melts. Pour some tea and enjoy the fragrant sandwiches.
