    1. Rinse the grouse well inside and out, then pat dry with a paper towel. 2. Make the marinade by mixing together the vegetable oil, spices, salt, and peeled, grated ginger. 3. Rub the birds all over with this mixture and let them marinate for a couple of hours. 4. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Place the grouse in it and pour the dry red wine over the top. 5. Roast in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about half an hour. When the time is up, check the meat—if it's tender, the dish is ready!
