Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 25 min

1. Pork is washed, dried, cut into cubes. We put the meat in a bowl, add half a portion of starch, pour soy sauce (about 2 tbsp. l, the rest will come in handy later) and water (100 ml), mix and leave to marinate (15 minutes will be enough).

2. Peel the carrots, grate them on a vegetable grater in Korean. Onions are also cleaned, cut into half rings. Bulgarian pepper is cleaned from seeds and stalks, washed, cut into strips.

3. Fry the meat in vegetable oil from all sides (it will not be possible to fry everything at once, so we work with batches).

4. Fry the carrots in the remaining oil, add pepper and onion to it after a minute, simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes, add salt to taste.

5. We put the tomato paste in a bowl, pour the remaining soy sauce and vinegar, add grated ginger (after peeling the skin) and garlic passed through the press, mix everything thoroughly. Pour sugar into the resulting sauce, pour water (the last 100 ml), having previously dissolved the remaining starch in it.

6. Pour the finished sauce into the pan with the vegetables, bring to a boil and add the meat. Simmer for 5 minutes.

We serve the dish, sprinkled with sesame seeds and garnished with fresh herbs.

Bon appetit!
