Turkish Gözleme with Feta
Turkish cooking! Quick and easy — and so delicious! These flatbreads are wonderfully tender. You can make them with all kinds of fillings: meat, vegetables, sugar and cinnamon, or chicken and mushrooms!
Cooking method

Step 1:
Sift the flour into a bowl and add the salt, olive oil, and water. Knead a fairly soft dough and shape it into a ball.

Step 2:
Divide the ball into 6 pieces.

Roll each one out into a round about 7 inches (17 cm) across.

Step 4:
Wrap the dough around a rolling pin and roll it out with both hands right on the pin, working from the center to the edges.

Step 5:
You should end up with a thin round about 12 inches (30 cm) across.

Step 6:
Chop the herbs.

Step 7:
Scatter the feta and herbs over the rounds of dough.

Step 8:
Fold as shown in the photo.

Step 9:
Fold it up this way.

Step 10:
Two fit into a 11-inch (28 cm) skillet. Fry on both sides until golden, about 3 minutes per side.
- Brush the finished flatbreads with butter and stack them on top of each other.
