Sour Cream Frosting for Cake
An incredibly tasty, delicate frosting that you should have in your arsenal! I learned this recipe from a homemaker. It's worth noting that a well-made frosting can give your cake a special flavor — all that's left is to spread it on store-bought cake layers! In this recipe you'll read one way to make such a frosting. Let's begin.

Cooking method
- The cream must be at least 35% fat. You can use cream with less than 35% fat only with a special thickener, which is sold in powder form — read the package for how to use it. Or you can simply use homemade sour cream. The sour cream should have a bit of tang. Into cream with powdered sugar, or into sweetened sour cream, you can add some store-bought 15–20% sour cream (the thick kind). It's recommended to mix them.
