  • First, clean the cod and rinse it thoroughly under cold water. Cut the fish into serving pieces, put them in a bowl, and pour in the milk. Refrigerate overnight. The next day, drain off the milk and pat the fish dry with a paper towel. Drizzle the cod with lemon juice, season with salt and pepper, and let it marinate for half an hour. Crack the egg into a bowl, add a little salt, and beat with a fork until smooth. Once the cod has marinated, pour the vegetable oil into a skillet and set it over the heat.
  • Dredge the fish pieces first in flour, then in the beaten egg, and fry in the skillet on all sides until golden and crisp. The finished fish pairs beautifully with any side dish. Enjoy!
