Eggs with Green Beans
A quick, super high-protein dinner that's easy to make. It'll please your health-conscious friend and a hungry guy alike. It's packed with protein and, cooked in a nonstick pan, low in fat.
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
This takes no more than 10 minutes and delivers a big hit of protein to help you stay in great shape. Nobody stays indifferent to this one—if you haven't tried it yet, head to the kitchen and give it a go.
-
Step 2:
Set the green beans over medium heat to thaw. You can either fry or steam them—if you steam them, the soy sauce is a nice touch. Add soy sauce if you like. You've got 6–7 minutes here to take care of other things around the house.
-
Step 3:
Once the green beans have thawed, add the eggs. You can eat the beans and eggs separately or mixed together—it's up to you. I cook by mood; tonight it's all in one dish.
-
Step 4:
Stir so it doesn't set into a solid omelet. You can wait a moment for the eggs to just start setting before stirring, but stirring now and then works fine too. Cooking should feel intuitive—that's how you stumble onto a new recipe. This step takes about 3 minutes.
-
Step 5:
Add salt and spices to taste. I used paprika and sesame seeds. Toasting the sesame seeds makes them even tastier.
-
Step 6:
Enjoy! Serve it with fresh vegetables or a piece of chicken.
- A wholesome recipe worth your attention. The cooking time of 10–15 minutes depends on how high you set the heat. Make it for dinner, lunch, or even a special occasion—it's something to show off to friends. Even the most kitchen-shy cook can pull off these simple but very tasty beans. When you're short on time or motivation to cook, this one is your ace in the hole for beating hunger. Cook it, and don't be afraid to experiment and try something new.
