Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
I knew about this culinary recipe, which tells how to fry zucchini pancakes with semolina and potatoes on water, from my mother, as well as about many other recipes that I inherited. If you haven't tried this dish yet, I highly recommend it! So, we will need the products that I specified in the ingredients field.
Step 2:
Pour semolina into a deep bowl, pour cold water and leave to swell for thirty minutes.
Step 3:
In the meantime, grate the zucchini on a coarse grater (tear it apart, if you match the name of the dish). In the same way, we rub the carrots and potatoes peeled in advance. Garlic is pressed through a garlic chopper. The mixture is slightly dried to get rid of excess moisture.
Step 4:
Remove excess water from the bowl with the swollen semolina, if it remains there. Add grated vegetables, eggs and flour for a bundle,
Step 5:
Salt, pepper and mix well. In fact, we got the dough. Liquid, of course, and heterogeneous, but quite suitable for frying pancakes.
Step 6:
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. In order for the pancakes not to stick to the bottom and not spoil, the oil must be very hot. We collect the dough with a tablespoon, since it is liquid, and pour it into the pan. Fry the draniki first on one side until golden brown.
Step 7:
Then turn them over and fry them until fully cooked. We use all the dough.
Step 8:
Remove the draniki from the stove and fry the next batch. Our dish is ready. We serve them on the table warm with sour cream. Enjoy your meal!
The recipe for this vegetable snack can be useful at a time when there is a fast. It will also appeal to those who like low-calorie vegetable dishes. I often fry such pancakes in the country, when you can just go to the garden, pick the right vegetables and cook this yummy. I usually make zucchini dumplings in large quantities, set the table in the gazebo in the garden and invite my housemates and neighbors to the table. In the fresh air, and even in a big pleasant company, they fly away with a bang!
