Step-by-step cooking
To begin with, we will prepare an egg mixture, in which we will then dip the toast. To do this, break the eggs into a deep bowl. Then add cream and powdered sugar to the same place. Two tablespoons will be enough, but for those who like sweeter, you can not skimp. Powdered sugar can be replaced with ordinary sugar. Most likely, the sugar crystals will still dissolve in the egg mixture or melt already in the cooking process. Mix all the ingredients well with a whisk or mixer.
Put the frying pan on medium heat. And while it is warming up, we will prepare bread. A loaf of white bread (if it is slightly stale, even better) should be cut into slices 1 cm thick. Pour the vegetable oil into the pan, and when it warms up, we start cooking our classic French toast. Dip each piece of bread in the egg mixture, and then fry on both sides until golden brown.
Classic French toast is ready. It remains only to serve this delicacy on the table. Put two toasts on a plate and pour over the honey. Place your favorite fruits next to it, cut into small pieces. Jam or whipped cream will also go well with toast.
Bon appetit!
