Cooking method
-
Step 1:
To make these delicious breakfast eggs, gather your ingredients and spices.
-
Step 2:
Take two eggs and separate the whites from the yolks.
-
Step 3:
Put the yolks and whites into separate bowls.
-
Step 4:
Finely chop the herbs and dice the sausage into small pieces.
-
Step 5:
Grate thirty grams of hard cheese on a fine grater.
-
Step 6:
Beat the whites in a bowl with a mixer, adding a little salt to taste.
-
Step 7:
Whip the whites to stiff peaks in an enamel, ceramic, or glass bowl — never aluminum, which can turn the whites gray.
-
Step 8:
Add the chopped herbs and diced sausage to the whipped whites and fold in very gently with a spatula.
-
Step 9:
Lightly grease the skillet with vegetable oil and spoon in the whipped-white mixture, dividing it into two roughly equal mounds.
-
Step 10:
Make a small well in each mound and add a little cheese and one yolk to each.
-
Step 11:
Add a little more cheese to each mound, season with the pepper blend to taste, then scatter on the last of the cheese and finish with a pinch of paprika.
-
Step 12:
Set the skillet over medium heat, cover with a lid, and cook for ten minutes. Then turn off the heat and let the eggs finish in the residual warmth for about five more minutes.
-
Step 13:
Cook together, cook simply, and make the tastiest dishes at home from everyday ingredients with our recipes! Enjoy your delicious breakfast!
