- Cut the meat, potatoes, and onion into small cubes. 2. Fry the onion in oil until lightly golden. 3. Add the meat to the onion, season with salt and pepper, drop in a bay leaf, and fry for 20 minutes. 4. Layer the pots: first the meat, then the potatoes; season with pepper and salt and add a bay leaf. 5. Pour in hot water so it completely covers everything. 6. Cover the pots with their lids and set them in a cold oven, then turn the oven to 350°F (180°C) and cook for 1 hour. Enjoy!
