So, let's start cooking! Put a frying pan with fat on the stove and heat it well. Cut the meat into small even pieces, add salt, pepper and fry in fat. Next, fry the onion until golden brown and add to the meat. Mix the water with tomato paste, pour the mixture over the meat, cover with a lid and
simmer on low heat for 50 — 70 minutes. Add the washed prunes and simmer for about half an hour. 10 minutes before cooking, add spices, salt and bay leaf to taste.
