Pork Beef Stroganoff in a Slow Cooker

    1. Rinse the pork, pat it dry with a paper towel, and cut it into thin slices about 1/2 inch (1 cm) thick. 2. Pound each slice, then cut it into thin strips. 3. Toss the meat strips in the starch (or flour) and season with salt. 4. Peel the onion and cut it into half-rings. 5. Set the slow cooker to the "Sauté" (Frying) setting for 15 minutes, pour in the vegetable oil, and add the onion. 6. Once the onion has heated through, add the meat and cook for about 5 minutes. 7. Now pour in the yogurt and stir in the dry adjika and pepper. Note: adjika is a spicy Georgian-style pepper-and-garlic seasoning — swap in your favorite hot spice blend if you can't find it. 8. Switch to the "Stew" (Braise) setting and cook for about 40 minutes. Serve hot with your favorite side dish. Enjoy!
