Here's a package of frozen whiting I had

Clean the fish, remove the heads and ridges. Boil in salted water, cool.
Step 4:
Sort through, removing the bones that come across. This should be done as carefully as possible.

Finely chop the onion.

Celery is also cut very finely.

Grate carrots on a coarse grater. Put out the vegetables in a small amount of oil (you can add a little fish broth). Add ketchup or tomato sauce to the stewed vegetables - to taste. Bring to a boil and turn off the gas.
