Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to bake bread on kefir? For the test, we will use kefir, although you can also take yogurt. Take it out of the refrigerator in advance so that it heats up to room temperature - it will be better for the dough. Pour the kefir into a convenient bowl, add sugar and salt, mix and let the mixture brew for 5 minutes.
Step 2:
Sift a large half of the prepared flour and all the soda into a bowl with the kefir mixture. Soda does not need to be extinguished additionally, since it will be extinguished with kefir. Mix the contents with a spoon, pour in the remaining flour and knead the sticky dough with your hands on the table or in a suitable bowl. To prevent the dough from sticking, lubricate your hands in vegetable oil. Form a ball of dough, cover it with cling film and leave for 10 minutes to rest.
Step 3:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil, transfer the dough and make 3-4 incisions in it so that it is better baked. Put the bread in the oven for 35-40 minutes. During the baking process, the mold can be rotated so that the bread is browned from all sides equally.
Step 4:
Check the bread readiness with a toothpick. During baking, it should be well baked, rise and acquire a golden crust.
Step 5:
When the bread cools down, it can be cut into pieces and served to the table. Enjoy your meal!
