Step 1:
How to bake juicy chum salmon steaks in the oven? Prepare the products according to the list. If necessary, defrost the fish in advance, rinse well, removing the film from the abdomen, and dry with napkins.
Step 2:
Prepare the marinade. To do this, put honey and granular mustard in a heat-resistant bowl, add soy sauce, stir well. That's it - the marinade is ready!
Step 3:
Lightly sprinkle or rub both sides of the steak with dry fish spices. You can add a little salt, but very little, because soy sauce is salty. Dip the steaks in the marinade, turn over and leave to marinate for 20-30 minutes. During this time, turn it over several more times, for a more uniform impregnation with marinade.
Step 4:
Turn the oven on 180 degrees, let it warm up. While the fish is marinating, you can prepare a side dish. After the prescribed time, put a small sprig of rosemary on the fish and put it in the oven for 20 minutes right in this dish, along with the marinade. The fish is very easy to dry out, so you should not leave it for longer, just cover the dish with foil before serving. And focus on your oven.
Step 5:
Put a slice of lemon on the baked steaks. Squeeze a little lemon juice on the fish. Ready-made fish can be served as an independent dish or with a side dish. It is good for both the everyday menu and the festive table. This way you can cook any red fish!
Keta – with any cooking method it turns out delicious, especially in the oven. The selected fish is thawed, gutted, cut into steaks. After sprinkling with salt, spices, chopped grass, sprinkled with oil, lemon juice – this is a classic that can be adapted to any other recipe.
