Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
This pie is prepared very easily and quickly. To start, turn on the oven to warm up to 200C. Now you can do the test. Roll out the puff pastry into the size of the mold (I have a square 18x18 or so) with a thickness of about 3 mm
Step 2:
We put it in the form and carefully prick it with a fork, do not forget about the sides
Step 3:
We cover the dough with baking paper or a sheet of foil on top and pour beans (or peas, anything that can serve as cargo, some even old coins are used for this) and in this form we send our basket to bake for 10-15 minutes (the cargo will not allow our basket to be deformed ugly)
Step 4:
During this time, the sides will be slightly browned, but not much
Step 5:
Now we remove our cargo and in this form we send our basket to bake until ready, about 10 minutes
Step 6:
During this time, we cut everything for the filling. Cut into half rings or rings. We take out the finished basket. The dough should be completely ready, since we will not bake any more
Step 7:
We spread our filling, alternating cheese, tomato and meat, and so we fill it completely. On top, if desired, sprinkle the filling with olive oil and send it to a hot, but already turned off oven for about five minutes. During this time, our cheese will melt, but it will not fry and will be very tender and stretch beautifully! All the pie is ready, decorate with basil leaves, quickly cut into 4 pieces and enjoy! Bon appetit!
