Bulk Apple pie

No need to mess with the dough - just pour it on the apples! A great option for beginners is to mix all the ingredients and lay them in layers in a mold. It turns out a pie very similar to an apple cake. Butter and apple juice during baking impregnate the dry layers, making them fragrant, soft and similar to cakes.

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 2 hours
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to bake an apple pie? We will prepare the products. Apples in such a pie are better suited to sour varieties, the dough is quite sweet. If the apples are sweet, reduce the amount of sugar. I advise you to put the oil in the freezer for a while, it will be easier to grate it.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Take a bowl, pour flour, salt and baking powder into it. Mix well. Add semolina, sugar and cinnamon.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Using a whisk, mix the dry mixture until smooth. This is our dough.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Remove the skin from the apples, cut out the cuttings. Cut the apple in half and cut out the core.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Grate the apples on a coarse grater. They immediately begin to darken. Sprinkle them with lemon juice, mix. From the juice, the oxidation process will stop. The filling is ready.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Starting to assemble the pie. I baked it in a split form. Be sure to lay out the bottom with baking paper. Rub 40 grams of butter on a coarse grater. Evenly distribute over the bottom.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Pour a layer of dry mixture on the oil, about a quarter of the total volume. Spread it evenly with a spoon.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Put a layer of apples, a third of the total amount. We level it with a spoon.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Then repeat - the second dry layer, the second layer of apples, the third dry layer, the third layer of apples.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

The fourth layer, the last one, turns out to be dry. Rub the remaining oil on top on a grater. We distribute it evenly over the surface.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

We put it in a preheated oven to bake for one hour. When the time is over, turn off the heating, but do not take out the pie, but leave it to cool in the oven. Serve in a slightly warm or cold form. Bon appetit!

I cooked such a pie for the second time in my life. The first time I failed - the layers remained dry. The same recipe turned out with a bang! Indeed, a kind of cake with shortbread cakes came out. Very tasty!
I think next time I'll take a little less sugar, and cane sugar, so that there is a caramel note. And it is better to put the mold on a baking sheet, the juice and butter flow out a little from the split during baking.
