Step 1:
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2:
Heat the kefir a little (about 35 degrees), pour it into a large bowl. Add sugar, salt, yeast. Cover the cup with a towel and put it in a warm place for 20 minutes.
Step 3:
Melt the butter, cool. Pour it into the kefir mixture, break the egg there. Mix everything together. Sift the flour and add two thirds at once, mixing all the ingredients well. Add the rest of the flour in small portions. Knead the dough with your hands until it stops sticking.
Step 4:
Cover the dough in a bowl with a towel, put it back in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours. The dough should increase in volume by 2 times.
Step 5:
Roll out the dough into a layer half a centimeter thick. Cut it into triangles.
Step 6:
Put the jam on the wide side of each triangle. Twist the bagels, put them on a baking sheet, which must first be greased with vegetable oil.
Step 7:
Mix the milk and yolk and grease each bagel with this mixture. Leave them to stand at room temperature for 20 minutes. During this time, they will increase slightly in size.
Step 8:
Bake the bagels at 200 degrees for 20 minutes (until browned).
Step 9:
Sprinkle the finished bagels with powdered sugar. Sweet tea party!
