Iced Coffee
Iced coffee is wonderfully refreshing and quenches your thirst on a hot day! I had it for the first time in Greece and completely fell in love. If you've never tried it, I really recommend you give it a go!
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
Make some ice cubes. I don't keep ice trays in my freezer, so I use the disposable ice-cube bags you can pick up at any grocery store. The cubes usually freeze in about 25–30 minutes. If you already have ice on hand, you can skip this step.
-
Step 2:
Brew the coffee. I have a pod coffee maker, so that's what I use. If you drink instant coffee, or brew it some other way, just make a cup however you normally would.
-
Step 3:
Set the coffee aside to cool. If you take your coffee with sugar, stir it in now. I like a small piece of brown cane sugar in mine — it tastes better to me than regular white sugar.
-
Step 4:
Grab a tall glass or a big mug. Take a few ice cubes from the freezer, drop them into the glass, and pour in the cooled, sweetened coffee.
-
Step 5:
Add cream or milk to the iced coffee, to taste. You could also drop in a scoop of ice cream. Enjoy your iced coffee!
