Step 1:
Cut the apples into 4 pieces, remove the core and cut into very thin slices. I used a Berner grater.
Step 2:
Lower the apple slices into boiling sugar syrup and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes until soft.
Step 3:
Roll out the dough thinly and cut into strips about 2 cm wide and about 30 cm long.
Step 4:
Put apple slices on each strip of dough so that they are slightly higher than the dough
Step 5:
Roll the dough strips with apples into rolls.
Step 6:
Bend the remaining dough at the bottom under the rosette. Grease the dough on the sides of the roses with beaten egg yolk. Put the products on a greased baking sheet and bake in a preheated 150 gr. oven for 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle the finished roses with powdered sugar. Bon appetit!
