Step 1:
Today I will share with you a recipe and tell you how to bake a Football field cake that I made as a gift for a young football player. The composition of the cake includes the well-known Zebra cake, (at the request of the birthday boy) which is very tasty, and in combination with fragrant impregnation and cream, just a delight for the festive table. So let's get started. We take the products we need.
Step 2:
Beat eggs with sugar with a mixer until a thick white foam forms.

Add sour cream and a teaspoon of slaked soda to the eggs.

Without ceasing to beat, we introduce the sifted flour and beat until a homogeneous mass is formed.
Step 6:
Now we divide our dough neatly into two parts. Pour part into another bowl, add 2-3 tablespoons of cocoa to one part, and the same amount of flour to the second, mix. The dough is ready!
Step 7:
We take a rectangular shape, since we need to get the shape of a football field, cover it with parchment paper and lubricate it with butter. Spoon out the white and black dough in turn.
Step 8:
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, and send the cake there for about 30-40 minutes.
Step 9:
While our cake is blushing its sides, we will prepare the cream in the meantime. The cream is very simple and well-known - it is butter with condensed milk. Soft butter is beaten down.
Step 10:
Gradually introduce condensed milk. We will need a lot of cream, since the cake will be decorated with it.
Step 11:
Here our cake is ready, we take it out of the mold and let it cool down. Since I need a big cake to feed the whole football team, I baked another one. We cut it lengthwise and impregnate it with syrup (sugar and water, I added another vanilla flavor). We lubricate our cakes with cream and stack one on top of the other. With a knife, we carefully cut off the corners.
Step 12:
Cuttings are crushed and mixed with a small amount of cream.
Step 13:
It turns out the so-called potatoes, which we line the sides of the cake.
Step 14:
We proceed directly to the design of the football field. With the help of a pastry syringe or a bag, we begin to decorate our field. First, we make the border of the field around the perimeter of the cake.
Step 15:
Then divide the field in half and draw a circle in the center.
Step 16:
Then decorate the sides of the cake.
Step 17:
Add green dye to the remaining cream.
Step 18:
Mix until a uniform color is obtained.
Step 19:
Fill the top of the cake.
Step 20:
This will be our grass on the field.
Step 21:
Next, I put a gate made of icing, and put a ball made of mastic in the center.
