Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a casserole of chicken, zucchini and cheese? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Choose young zucchini. So they have a thin skin, it is not necessary to clean it. If you take an old zucchini, peel it from the skin and seeds. Rinse the chicken fillet under running water and dry with paper towels.
Step 2:
Cut small zucchini into identical circles about 3-5 mm thick. Cut a large zucchini in half, remove the large seeds and cut into half rings.
Step 3:
Slice the tomatoes. Choose tomatoes that are firm, fleshy. Juicy, soft tomatoes will be difficult to cut neatly and when baked, they will turn into porridge, and also give the dish extra liquid.
Step 4:
Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. Place in a single layer in a baking dish.
Step 5:
Cut the cold butter into small cubes and spread on top of the chicken.
Step 6:
Next, put a layer of zucchini on the chicken. Season the zucchini with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 7:
Prepare the fill. Beat chicken eggs into a suitable container, add sour cream, salt. Stir with a fork or whisk until smooth.
Step 8:
Pour the egg-sour cream mixture over the zucchini and meat.
Step 9:
Put the tomato circles on top.
Step 10:
Wash the dill in advance, dry it with paper towels and sprinkle the casserole on top. Send the casserole form to a preheated 180 degree oven. Bake for about 30 minutes. Focus on your oven - your temperature and time may differ from mine.
Step 11:
Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater. After half an hour, take out the casserole, sprinkle it with cheese on top, decorate with cherry tomatoes if desired. Return the casserole back to the oven for another 10-15 minutes. Since everyone has different ovens, look at the readiness of meat and zucchini. They should be easily pierced with a knife and be soft.
Step 12:
Serve the finished dish warm with herbs, favorite sauces, olives. The next day, the casserole can be heated in the microwave or in the oven, it will not lose its taste. Enjoy your meal!
Chicken can be replaced with turkey or another type of meat. But in this case, the cooking time and calorie content of the dish will change.
In addition to zucchini and tomatoes, you can take bell peppers, cauliflower and other vegetables at your discretion.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
