Nut Pie

The aroma of homemade cakes will make the evening really cozy. A piece of shortbread walnut pie with a delicate filling is the best addition to a cup of tea or coffee. The recipe uses pecans, but you can also take almonds, cashews or any other nuts to taste. The taste of the pie will not change radically from this, but a slight flavor shade will still be present.

Cooking method

1. Sift the flour into a bowl. Here we pour salt and sugar. Mix with a spatula.

2. Cut the butter into cubes. The butter can be cut frozen, and then let it stand for a while and warm up. Room temperature oil is added to the dry ingredients.

3. Rub the butter with the flour mixture into a crumb. This should be done with your hands, here a spoon and a spatula will not help in any way.

4. In the center of the crumbs we make a recess. We put the egg yolk in it and pour cold water.

5. Knead the dough. We collect it in a ball, pack it in food wrap or put it in a cellophane bag. We send the dough to the refrigerator for one hour.

6. Grease the mold with a small piece of butter. Lightly sprinkle with flour.

7. Sprinkle the work surface with flour, roll out the dough on it into a thin layer. The diameter of the formation should be larger than the diameter of the mold.

8. Put the dough in the mold, form the sides. We press the edges of the sides with our fingers to the side of the mold.

9. Using a fork, we make punctures along the base. Cover the base with parchment. We use beans as cargo. We pour it on the parchment. This will prevent the dough from swelling and cracking.

10. We send the form to the oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for 30 minutes.

11. In the meantime, we chop large pecans. Pour condensed milk into a deep bowl, pour dry cake cream and sugar, rub the ingredients with a fork or beat with a mixer. The second method will help to mix the ingredients better.

12. In the resulting mixture, break the chicken eggs, add vanilla. Beat it well again.

13. The resulting mass is poured onto the baked base. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Cover with foil. We send it to the oven. Bake at 170 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

We serve the pie in a warm form or completely cooled down. It will be delicious in any case.
