Step 1:
We put the cottage cheese in a bowl, knead a little with a fork. Do not take very dry cottage cheese. Soft, without excess moisture, fatty cottage cheese (at least 5-9%) is best suited.
Step 2:
Cut butter at room temperature into cubes and add to the cottage cheese. Mix thoroughly.
Step 3:
Then in a separate bowl, sift the flour mixed with baking powder and vanilla sugar.
Step 4:
Add flour to the curd-butter mass. We knead the elastic dough with our hands.We roll it into a ball. Wrap the film.Put it in the refrigerator for 1.5 hours.(The dough can be stored in the freezer for 3 weeks!)
Step 5:
Work surface (board)sprinkle a little flour.Roll out the dough with a thickness of 1cm. We cut out the figures with a mold or a glass.
Step 6:
Pour sugar into a plate and dip each figure in sugar, slightly pressing down with your fingers.
Step 7:
Preheat the oven to 190-200 degrees. Spread the cookies on a baking sheet with parchment paper, sugar up.Bake in a preheated 200 ° C oven until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
