Cooking method
Prepare the cake:
1. Sift both types of flour (plain flour with corn flour), baking powder and cocoa powder into a bowl.
2. Divide the eggs into whites and yolks, then beat the whites with a mixer until soft peaks, add sugar and continue to beat until the mass thickens.
3. One by one, enter the egg yolks without interrupting the whipping.
4. Add dry ingredients to the resulting fluffy mass, pour in the oil and knead the dough with careful movements (it will be slightly thicker in consistency than on pancakes).
5. Pour half of the dough into a form lined with parchment and bake for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 175 degrees.
6. Remove the finished cake from the mold and let it cool, putting it on the grill.
7. Also bake a second cake from the remaining dough.
Now prepare the white cream:
1. In a small saucepan, mix powdered sugar and gelatin, pour in some cream (50 g), stir. Heat the mixture in the microwave: it should thicken a little, then let it cool to room temperature.
2. In a chilled bowl, beat the remaining cream with a mixer until thickened. Add the cooled gelatin mixture without stopping whipping. The cream will turn out thick, it will keep its shape perfectly.
Assemble the cake:
1. Cut each cake lengthwise (you get four), cut one of the cakes in half across, put the halves on top of each other and in the center of the remaining cakes. Spread the cakes and cut them off, giving the final shape to the machine. Line the top of the cake with the remaining cream.
Now prepare the cream with which you will decorate the cake:
1. To do this, beat the well-cooled cream to a fluffy foam, add powdered sugar and dye (do not add a lot at once, it is better to take less, and then add and adjust the color to the desired shade). Whisk until the cream holds its shape perfectly.
2. Put the finished cream in a pastry bag and, taking the "asterisk" nozzle, put small meringues all over the cake (do not forget to leave gaps for the windshield, where there will be eyes, and for headlights, mouth).
Make wheels out of cookies, eyes out of small round chocolates, an inscription and a sign out of butter whipped with sugar.
Leave the cake in the refrigerator for an hour, after which you can serve it on the table!
Good mood birthday boy!
