Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Ingredients.
Step 2:
First you need to grind the melted butter to elasticity, of course, it will be easier to do it with a mixer. Rub for 20 minutes (I had enough patience for 10 minutes).
Step 3:
Then mix the egg, powdered sugar, vanilla.
Step 4:
Gradually add flour. Do not pour all of it at once, since you will not be able to form cookies from excess flour. Constantly try to squeeze the dough in your hand, it should be well molded, although cracks characteristic of cookies will appear. Make a round cookie.
Step 5:
Cover the baking sheet with oiled parchment paper. Lay out the cookies. I made small ones, about 5-6 cm in diameter, I got 24 pieces. Bake at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Try to be ready, if you over-dry, they will turn out solid. They should not be ruddy.
Step 6:
Sprinkle the finished shaker chureks with powdered sugar. I didn't sprinkle, because there is enough sweetness in them for me. Have a nice tea.
Some housewives lubricate the shaker chureks with beaten egg before baking.
Another option is to make a small depression in the cookie, pressing a finger into the middle and smearing it with beaten yolk. It turns out a yellow dot in the middle of the shaker churek.
