Cooking method
Birthdays and holidays, feasts and gatherings in the kitchen – at every event, the cake is a welcome guest.
Cakes are different, with different creams and fillings, from different types of dough purchased and homemade. I suggest you bake a cake at home, according to my recipe, and it will be a cake with jam. You can do it, you are a good hostess and a wonderful cook. Repeat this more often and for sure it will be so.
Prepare a sponge cake for the cakes. It is necessary to separate the yolks from the whites and whisk the whites. Before that, cool the proteins. Rub the butter and sugar in a glass bowl white, and alternately add the remaining yolks, potato starch. The mass should increase in volume and thicken. Pour in the sifted flour, stir. Carefully add the whipped whites to the dough and gently move. Do not overdo it, otherwise the dough will settle.
Warm up the oven well. Take three molds, lubricate them with fat (butter or margarine), lay out the bottom with almond petals and pour the dough on ¾ filling the molds. Put the cakes in the oven for 15-20 minutes, observing a temperature regime of 200 degrees.
We layer the cooled cake cakes with jam, sprinkle the top with powdered sugar. To make it more beautiful, cut out strips of paper 1 cm thick and put them on the cake with a lattice, sprinkle with powder and carefully remove the paper. Beauty!
The cake is ready.
