First you need to warm up the milk, then we dilute yeast and salt in it. Then add the egg, a little butter, flour and knead the dough. Now, as usual, we cover the saucepan with a cloth and put it in a warm place for 45 minutes.

Now we make the filling: we pass nuts through a meat grinder and combine them with powdered sugar, cardamom and honey.

Since baklava is puff pastry, we roll out 14 or 16 cakes from the dough (that's how many people will get) and stack them on a baking sheet, greasing each with melted butter. The last and first 3 cakes remain without filling, we put the filling between the others.

Lubricate the baklava with yolk, thin out into lozenges and send it to the oven for 30 minutes. Enjoy oriental food!
