Step 1:
I really like poppy seed filling in baking, so I really liked the cottage cheese with the addition of poppy seeds. But it's very satisfying, you can't eat much, we had enough for a few days. To prepare cottage cheese, you will need a detachable or silicone mold with a diameter of 24-26-28 cm. I used whole-grain flour, so the crumbs came out dark.
Step 2:
Put flour, sugar, butter in a bowl and rub with your hands until crumbly crumbs.
Step 3:
2/3 put in a mold (if necessary, oiled), tightly tamped on the bottom, the sides are optional. Put the mold in the refrigerator and the remaining crumbs, too.
Step 4:
Pour milk into a 2.5-3 liter saucepan, add butter and sugar, bring to a boil. Pour in the poppy seeds and semolina, mix and let stand for 10 minutes.
Step 5:
Poppy and semolina will swell. Beat the mixture with a mixer so that there are no lumps.
Step 6:
Beat the cottage cheese with an egg mixer.
Step 7:
Add the curd mixture to the poppy seed, mix.
Step 8:
Take the form with the dough out of the refrigerator, put the filling on top, smooth it out. Sprinkle with the remaining crumbs. Bake at a temperature of 180 c for about an hour.
Step 9:
Cool the finished cake completely, it is very desirable to send it to the refrigerator overnight, and then carefully remove it from the mold. Under the crumbly crumbs - a moist filling with poppy flavor! Have a nice tea party!!!
