Step-by-step cooking
Preheat the oven to 275 degrees. Cut the Bulgarian pepper in half and remove the seeds. Mix the cheese with green onions, seasonings and avocado. After using a teaspoon or fork, put the resulting mass on each half of the pepper. Now wrap each pepper with a mixture of green onions, cheese, as well as seasonings and avocado in bacon slices. Sprinkle each with barbecue sauce, and then fix the bacon on the peppers with a toothpick.
Bake in the oven for at least one hour.
