Step 1:
Prepare the products specified in the recipe.

Dry yellow split peas rinse well in plenty of water. If you use whole peas, pre-soak them in cold water and leave for a couple of hours.
Step 3:
Put the washed peas in the bowl of the slow cooker.
Step 4:
Fill the peas with water in the proportions of 1 to 3. Then take a piece of butter and smear it on the bowl of the slow cooker from the inside 2 cm above the water level. This method will not allow water to escape. Put the bowl in a slow cooker, close the lid and set the "quenching" mode for 2 hours. If you are afraid that the peas will "run away", cook with an open bowl of a slow cooker. If there is a need for water, add a little.
Step 5:
10 minutes before the pea puree is ready, season it with salt and pepper and add butter. If you want, add aromatic spices to taste. For example, Provencal, Italian herbs and aromatic peppers.
Step 6:
Mix well. When the program time ends, leave the puree in the bowl of the slow cooker for at least 10 minutes, without opening the lid, let the dish infuse.
Step 7:
It turns out delicious, smooth and tender pea puree.
Step 8:
Serve pea puree as a side dish to meat dishes or on your own. Very tasty with salted crackers. Enjoy your meal!
For cooking, it is better to use filtered or bottled water that is neutral to taste. If you use tap water, keep in mind that it can give the dish an unpleasant characteristic taste.
Since the degree of salinity, sweetness, bitterness, sharpness, acid, burning is individual for everyone, always add spices, spices and seasonings, focusing on your taste! If you put some of the seasonings for the first time, then keep in mind that there are spices that it is especially important not to shift (for example, chili pepper).
