Dessert Strawberry clouds with gelatin

Light and airy dessert just melts in your mouth! It is simply impossible to resist this dessert. The name speaks for itself, these pieces are just weightless like a cloud. The taste is somewhat reminiscent of marshmallows, but much more tender! These clouds can be used as an independent dessert, but you can also fill baskets with such a souffle or make a cake with it! Help yourself!

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

    Ingredients.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Combine strawberries, lemon juice and powdered sugar.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

    Grind into a smooth puree.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Pour strawberry puree into a saucepan and add gelatin. Stir and leave for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, put the puree on the fire, heat (do not boil) and, with constant stirring, bring to the complete dissolution of the gelatin.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Filter the gelatin mass into a large bowl! Let cool to room temperature. While the mixture cools, prepare the mold (I have 22x22), line the mold with baking paper, lightly greasing it with vegetable oil.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Beat the cooled puree with a mixer until soft peaks (about 6-10 minutes, depending on the power of the mixer). When whipping, the mixture will turn white and increase in volume!

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

We put the mixture into a mold and level the surface. We act quickly, the mixture begins to set very quickly and it becomes very difficult to level it. Leave at room temperature for 10-24 hours without covering anything until completely solidified .

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Sprinkle the work surface with an even layer of powdered sugar, spread the clouds on it and use molds or a sharp knife to cut into portions. We roll each piece in powdered sugar (optional).

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

    Bon appetit!
