Cooking method
It is better to buy cottage cheese at home, and if we choose store-bought, we prefer fat. Berries with cottage cheese are mashed with a blender until smooth. If the berries are fresh, just rinse them with water and dry them with a paper towel. If the berries are frozen, we defrost them, but not completely.
When the curd-berry mass has become smooth and homogeneous, add an arbitrarily sliced banana. We continue to grind with a blender until completely homogeneous. We taste it, if the sweets from the banana and berries do not seem enough, add a small amount of honey. Stir the honey with the curd mass until it is completely homogeneous.
We transfer the mass into a plastic container and put it in the freezer.
An important point in the preparation of homemade ice cream is mixing. If the frozen sweet mass remains in the freezer for a long time, the liquid inside crystallizes, and you can forget about the consistency of real ice cream. The result will be a sweet frozen icicle. To achieve a state close to a real ice cream with cottage cheese, you can use stirring.
Every 20-30 minutes it is necessary to take out a container with a freezing mass and mix well. You can not miss even a small corner, it is best to cope with this task with a mixer with dough mixers. It will be more and more difficult to mix the ice cream every time, but the efforts will not be in vain. In just 2-3 hours it will be possible to please the family and guests with real homemade cottage cheese ice cream without unnecessary additives and sugar. A different set of berries will help you recreate your favorite taste and prepare ice cream regardless of the season.
We spread the dessert on cremans or pre-prepared waffle cups, season with sweet sauce, jam, sprinkle with grated chocolate or serve without anything.
Bon appetit!
