Sauerkraut with sweet pepper and cumin without vinegar

Great recipe for a traditional Russian snack! A wonderful culinary recipe of Bulgarian cuisine, which, I am sure, many housewives will like. It is simple in execution, and the cabbage as a result turns out to be a solid delicious. Yes, I personally added a spoonful of sugar to it, I like it that way. And you see for yourself – there is no sugar in the recipe.

Finely and beautifully chop cabbage. Carrots and peppers are thoroughly washed, carrots are cleaned and grated on a coarse grater, and pepper is removed from seeds and stalks, cut into four parts and crumble into strips. Yes, if we try to use red sweet pepper in this preparation, our cabbage in cans for the winter will take on a truly artistic look. Just imagine: white cabbage, orange carrots and red pepper are not food, but beauty and that's all! We continue. We take a suitable dish, put cabbage, carrots and pepper in it, sprinkle with cumin and salt and knead with our hands the way we usually knead the dough. We need the juice to stand out. We install some suitable cargo on top and forget about cabbage for three days. After we transfer it into glass jars, pour in the released juice, sterilize (if desired) and roll it up. That's it, now we will have vitamins all winter.
