Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to cook cabbage soup with stewed meat and fresh cabbage? To do this, you need to prepare all the ingredients. Vegetables: onions, carrots, potatoes, peel and rinse in running water from dirt. Remove 2-4 upper leaves from the cabbage head. They won't be needed. Stew can be taken from any type of meat. I will use a pork stew.
Step 2:
Pour the required amount of water into a saucepan, put it on fire and bring to a boil. Cut the peeled potatoes into small pieces. Finely chop the fresh cabbage.
Step 3:
Add the prepared potatoes and cabbage to the boiling water. Leave to cook for 20 minutes.
Step 4:
At this time, start frying vegetables. Finely chop the onion, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Heat the frying pan to a hot state and pour a little vegetable oil. Put the onion and carrot and fry for a couple of minutes.
Step 5:
Wash tomatoes, cut into two parts and remove the stalk. Cut the tomatoes into cubes and add to the pan with the vegetables. Then add a couple of spoonfuls of tomato paste. Mix everything and fry for another 3-4 minutes. During this time, the tomatoes will release juice and become soft.
Step 6:
Put the finished vegetable roast in a saucepan.
Step 7:
Put the meat stew from the jar on a hot frying pan and warm it up so that it melts.
Step 8:
Put the stew in a saucepan. For flavor, add bay leaf. Add salt and spices to taste. Boil everything together for another couple of minutes and remove the pan from the heat. Cover with a lid and let it brew for 10-15 minutes.
Step 9:
Cabbage soup with stew and fresh cabbage are ready! Pour into prepared plates and serve to the table. If desired, you can add sour cream and fresh herbs. Bon appetit!
You can use meat or vegetable broth instead of water for cooking cabbage soup.
The amount of water specified in the recipe can be reduced or increased at your request, depending on whether you want to get a thick or more liquid soup.
For cooking, it is better to use filtered or bottled water that is neutral to taste. If you use tap water, keep in mind that it can give the dish an unpleasant characteristic taste.
