Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to fry chicken cutlets with zucchini? Prepare all the necessary ingredients for this. As chicken meat, I like to use chicken thigh fillets. It's not as dry as a breast fillet.
Step 2:
Peel the onion from the husk and rinse in cold water. Chop the chicken meat and onion. This can be done by passing everything through a meat grinder or using a chopper. Fold the minced meat and onion into a spacious bowl, in which it will be convenient for you to mix everything.
Step 3:
Wash the squash. If it has a hard peel, then it needs to be cleaned. Young zucchini can be used together with the peel. Grate the zucchini on a grater. For a more uniform consistency, you can use a fine grater. Squeeze out the excess liquid from the grated zucchini.
Step 4:
Add the squeezed zucchini to the bowl to the minced meat. Then add the egg. To taste, sprinkle everything with a little salt and spices. As a spice, I use a mixture of ground peppers and paprika. Mix all the ingredients well with each other.
Step 5:
Depending on the consistency of the cutlet mass, add 2-4 tablespoons of semolina. It will make the consistency a little thicker and denser. Instead of semolina, you can use starch or flour.
Step 6:
Pour the breadcrumbs into a small plate. Take a little cutlet mass, roll in breadcrumbs and form cutlets with your hands.
Step 7:
Heat the frying pan to a hot state and pour a little vegetable oil. Lay out the formed cutlets and fry them over low heat for 1-2 minutes on each side.
Step 8:
The finished cutlets will become an appetizing golden color.
Step 9:
Ready chicken cutlets with zucchini are ready! Serve them with any side dish or fresh vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
Any oils are useful only until a certain temperature is reached - the point of smoking, at which the oil begins to burn and toxic substances, including carcinogens, are formed in it. How to determine the roasting temperature and choose the best oil for frying, and which is better not to use at all, read here .
Important! An incorrectly selected frying pan can ruin even the best recipe. All the details on how to choose the perfect frying pan for different dishes read here .
To check whether the oil has warmed up well enough in the pan, you can do it in a simple way. Lower a wooden spatula into it. If bubbles have gathered around it, then you can start the frying process.
