Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 4 h 30 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the products. I took soft cottage cheese, if you take a farmer's cottage cheese, it will also work, just punch it with a blender a little longer.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Wash and peel tangerines, disassemble into slices. The dessert will turn out to be more tender if the slices are cleaned from all the films. It happens that tangerines fall with a very thin film, in such it can be left, if it is coarser and thicker, it is still better to remove it. The slices can be left whole or cut, so they are evenly distributed in the dessert. This is the most time-consuming work in the recipe, which can be done in advance, cover the peeled tangerines and put them in the refrigerator.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Add 350 ml of cold boiled water to 30 g of instant gelatin, leave to swell.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Punch the cottage cheese with a blender.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Add condensed milk and punch everything else until smooth.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Heat the swollen gelatin, but do not let it boil, stir so that it all spreads, cool slightly. Pour in a thin stream, constantly stirring the curd mass with a spatula. If you use another gelatin, it is better to strain it through a sieve.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Add the tangerine slices together with the released juice to the curd component, mix and pour into the mold. I took a silicone cake mold, you can use a metal one. For convenient extraction of dessert, it is better to cover any shape with cling film. Or pour the dessert into individual creamers, then you don't have to turn it over to extract it, here is your choice.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Cover the dessert in the form and put it in the refrigerator until completely solidified, for 2-4 hours. Mine froze after 2 hours, it all depends on the volume and type of shape, you can leave it overnight.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Turn the frozen dessert onto a platter, carefully separate the mold and remove the film. Decorate the top as you want, I just grated chocolate. For decoration, you can use tangerine, cut into slices or use peeled ones. The dessert tastes moderately sweet, with a curd - creamy taste and a juicy tangerine note. When serving, you can offer tangerine topping, at your discretion.

New Year is always associated with white snow, with the citrus smell of tangerines and pine needles.

Snow-white mousse with bright tangerine slices looks like winter, fabulous and elegant, it will decorate any table, and at other times of the year it will remind you of the New Year's celebration!
