Riet is one of the methods of cooking meat and fish. In fact, this is the same pate, only it has a different consistency, its structure is coarser, as if fibrous. The French dish, somewhat resembling a native pate, has its own special flavor and zest. Riet is prepared not only from fish, but also from meat and game. Fish dishes are very different, they can be made from fish meat or canned food. Most often, fish of the salmon family are used for this. Fillets can be boiled or steamed, and then proceed to further cooking. In fact, there are a lot of recipes, everyone adapts the ingredients to their taste. Boiled carrots, capers, canned peppers, and other ingredients are added to the dish. This recipe also provides for the preparation of the simplest canned rice, so the salmon should be natural, without the addition of oil. Curd cheese can be replaced with natural yogurt without fillers.
1. Drain the liquid from the canned salmon, put it in a bowl, knead it with a fork. It is not necessary to knead much, the texture of the riet should not be homogeneous.
2. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon, pour it over the salmon, salt to taste, mix gently.
3. Green onions are washed under running water, dried with paper towels, cut finely, spread to the fish.
4. Last of all, add cottage cheese, mix gently.
