Peel the onion and cut into thin half rings, sprinkle with vinegar. Sprinkle sugar and salt on top and leave for 15 minutes to soak. Peel the apples from the core, cut into strips, mix with the prepared onion. Season the salad with vegetable oil, mix and put in a salad bowl. Decorate the dish with herbs and berries.
