The recipe for making homemade wines allows the use of almost any berries.
Today I bring to your attention a recipe for homemade white currant wine.
First you should prepare a wine starter.
Sorted and washed white currant berries are kneaded and sugar is added in a ratio of 3:1 (berries:sugar).
The resulting puree is put in a warm place for three days. The starter culture is considered ready when the active fermentation process begins.
White currant berries should be sorted and washed.
Squeeze the juice out of the finished berries. I first crush the berries with a pusher, and then squeeze through a cloth or gauze bag.
In the resulting juice, add 1.6 kilograms of sugar and a pre-prepared wine starter.
The container with the future wine is placed for fermentation in a dark place at room temperature for a week.
When the fermentation process is completed, vodka should be added to the wine at the rate of 500 ml of vodka per 5 liters of wine.
After mixing, we keep the mixture for another week.
Homemade white currant wine should be filtered and the remaining sugar (800 grams) should be added.
Bottling the wine, we are waiting for its final readiness within 2-3 months.
