Cooking method
Potatoes are washed and boiled directly with the skin, that is, "in uniform". We clean it and cut it into small cubes. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Peel and cut into small cubes and onion bulbs. Peeled garlic is simply cut into circles. Chop the greens together, also in small pieces.
Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan, or just a small saucepan. We put tomato paste in it and warm it for 7 minutes. After 7 minutes, we supplement the contents of the saucepan with chopped onions and 2 cloves of garlic. Fry, waiting for the onion and garlic to begin to turn golden.
As soon as this moment has come, sprinkle all the other ingredients into the saucepan. Persistently stir the mass, frying it for the next 5 minutes.
Pour 3 liters of boiling water and rice into a saucepan. We begin to cook. Readiness is determined by rice, if soft – add potatoes and wait for re-boiling. Remove the mixture from the heat. We finish the lean kharcho soup with the remaining garlic clove and chopped herbs.
