Step 1:
The process of preparing a billet of garlic greens is very simple and fast. Ingredients for its preparation need very little. There are different recipes for pickled garlic greens for the winter, you can choose a more interesting one to your liking. Let's consider one of the simplest and fastest.
Step 2:
You need to start with the sterilization of glass jars for the workpiece. It is better to take small jars so that the snack is eaten at a time. You can sterilize the jars in any convenient way: in a water bath, in an oven or in a microwave oven. The lids are washed, boiled and dried.
Step 3:
Wash the garlic greens, throw them into a colander and let the water drain completely. We cut the garlic arrows with a knife or clean kitchen scissors into pieces that will fit well in jars, vertically or horizontally, whichever you like.
Step 4:
Garlic greens are tightly packed in jars, up to the neck. We boil the water in a kettle and immediately pour boiling water over the garlic arrow in jars. We cover the jars with lids, but do not close them tightly. Leave for 15 minutes.
Step 5:
Then drain the water into an enameled saucepan. Add sugar, salt, pepper, bay leaf, bring the marinade to a boil, stirring with a spoon so that the sugar and salt completely dissolve. Pour in the vinegar. let the marinade boil again and turn off the fire.
Step 6:
Pour the marinade into jars up to the shoulders of the jars, pepper peas and bay leaf are also transferred to the jars. Immediately roll up the jars with lids. We turn them upside down. Wrap up with a warm blanket and leave at room temperature until completely cooled. We remove the jars with garlic arrow for winter storage in the refrigerator or a cool pantry.
