A simple salad with chicken breast and prunes. A hearty salad with chicken, mushrooms, and prunes. You can make this layered salad for a holiday table, or just for everyday variety. If the ingredients are prepped (boiled) ahead of time, you can assemble it in just a few minutes. The ingredients work well together and don't cost much.

    To make this salad with prunes, gather the ingredients you'll need. To save time, boil the ingredients that need cooking ahead of time: the chicken, the potatoes (in their skins), and the eggs.

    Peel and chop the pre-boiled, cooled eggs.

    Cut the chilled chicken breast fillet into small pieces.

    Grate the cheese.

    Peel the potatoes that were boiled in their skins and cut them into cubes.

    Pour boiling water over the prunes and let them sit for five to seven minutes. Then drain the water and slice them.
