Cooking method
- So, here's the recipe. Start by stirring the honey and dry yeast into half a glass of warm water. Then carefully sift the flour into a bowl through a sieve, and pour the honey-yeast water into the sifted flour. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth. Add a tablespoon of olive oil (vegetable oil works too) and knead it all into a smooth, elastic dough. Form the dough into a large ball, put it in a deep bowl, cover with a towel, and leave it in a warm place for a couple of minutes. After that, take the dough out and roll it into a pizza base. The rest is up to your imagination and taste! Enjoy!
- Be prepared for the flour to need adjusting — you may need more or less than the recipe states. Go by the desired consistency of the dough rather than the exact amount of flour. To avoid mistakes, read up on flour and its properties!
- Dry yeast can be swapped for fresh compressed yeast at a 1:3 ratio — that is, for every 1 gram of dry yeast called for, use 3 grams of fresh.
