Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make dough for pies on water without yeast? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Sift the flour through a sieve in advance to saturate it with oxygen. heat the water to a warm state. The sifted flour makes the finished dough more airy. My eggs are of category C1.
Step 2:
To prepare the dough, take a comfortable, spacious bowl and pour 2/3 of the flour into it. Do not add all the flour at once, as its amount may differ slightly from the specified one. Leave a little flour to further adjust the consistency of the finished dough. Add salt and sugar to the flour.
Step 3:
Make a small depression in the center of the flour and break the eggs. Then pour in the vegetable oil.
Step 4:
Then pour in warm water and start kneading the dough.
Step 5:
At the beginning of the kneading, it is convenient to use a wooden spatula. Gradually, the dough will begin to gather into a lump. If necessary, add a little more flour and then knead the dough with your hands.
Step 6:
The finished dough turns out soft and does not stick to your hands. Form it into a ball, cover it with a lid and leave it to lie down for 10-20 minutes so that it has a little rest.
Step 7:
Knead the rested dough a little more and you can start cooking pies. Take any filling to your taste. The dough is perfectly molded. From the finished dough, form small pies and fry them over low heat on all sides... or bake in the oven!
For cooking, it is better to use filtered or bottled water that is neutral to taste. If you use tap water, keep in mind that it can give the dish an unpleasant characteristic taste.
Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
Be sure to wash eggs before use, as even seemingly clean shells may contain harmful bacteria. It is best to use food detergents and a brush.
