Cooking method

Cooking time: 2 h 30 min

Prepare the sourdough: preheat the milk to a warm state, pour sugar, dry yeast and a little flour into it. Mix everything and leave it in the heat for half an hour.

In a large bowl, break the eggs, pour sugar and spread the softened butter, rub the mass with a spoon. Then pour the sourdough into the resulting mass, pour vanilla sugar and salt, sift the flour. Mix the dough with a spoon, and when it is no longer possible to do this, we continue to knead with our hands, greasing them with vegetable oil.

Knead the dough on a flour-powdered work surface for 5-7 minutes, then put the dough in a bowl and cover with cling film. We leave it in the heat for an hour and a half and boldly proceed to the formation of the conceived dish.

I wish you a magnificent dough and delicious pastries!

Be prepared for the fact that you may need more or less flour than indicated in the recipe. You need to focus on how the dough should turn out (dense, soft, liquid, etc.). A lot of useful information about why flour of the same variety may have different properties, read this article
